Since 2021, I have been the lead photographer for Arizona State Museum, building on five years of diverse freelance experience. My portfolio includes diverse styles—portrait, event, studio, and documentary—with an emphasis in anthropology, geography, folklore, and historical narratives.
I care deeply about curating and creating images that speak to collective human experience and cultural heritage. I am eager to delve deeper into visual storytelling, and to find new ways to contribute to powerful narratives through compelling photography.
Put plainly, I love photography. I am engaged in both the practice of making impactful images and that of studying and discussing their significance and meaning. Photography has a unique power to evoke emotion, stimulate imagination, and bridge cultural divides, I think this makes it an unparalleled medium for global communication. It is a visual language I am committed to mastering, articulating, and interpreting.
